Dear Stage Friends

The new year is well underway, the first performances have taken place and we are able to surprise you with two important news flashes:

PETRA has re-united, recorded its first new CD and is on the way to start their "Back to the Rock" Tour. Of course we invited them to make a stop in Switzerland as well! Exclusively for our Stage News readers we prepared a number of reduced EARLY TICKETS!

We are happy to announce that since January 1st, 2011, we are representing the wonderful clown DIMITRI as an agency. We are booking his four Solo Programs.

Simon Huwiler is our new apprentice. He started at the beginning of this year. We are really happy about that!

We are very much looking forward to meeting with you at one of our events during 2011. We wish you all the best and may 2011 be a good one for each of you!

PETRA - Back to the Rock Tour 2011
May 6 - Volkshaus, Zurich LIVE!

It is hard to believe:

PETRA announced the reunion of its "classic" 80’s lineup, which consists of vocalist Greg X. Volz, guitarist Bob Hartman, bassist Mark Kelly, drummer Louie Weaver, and keyboardist John Lawry. They have done an album with its greatest hits of the 80's and are now preparing a worldwide tour!

On Friday, May 6, the Band is going to perform its only Swiss Concert in the Volkshaus, Zurich.

You will find on our website a VIDEO of their concert premiere in the  US...

Pre-sales via starticket are going to start on March 1st, at 08h00.

Dimitri – the solo programs of the best-known Swiss Clown are now represented by PROFILE Productions

How did this happen? - For a number of years, Carlos Martínez and Dimitri have been in contact with each other. They always enjoy meeting (e.g. when Carlos Martínez is performing in Dimitri's theatre in Verscio) and they chat late into the night. That's how PROFILE Productions got in touch with this exceptional artist. Dimitri approached us to represent his Solo Programs, which for us is a joy and honour. We are very much looking forward to this new collaboration with this poetic performer.

Simon Huwiler - our new support in the Team

This young man, from the county of Lucerne, started in our office at the beginning of January. Silvia Ladner and myself are delighted to have more office support again!

Back from Australia, he brings along a lot of interest in the agency work but also all the knowledge and competence of his former profession as a computer programmer and network specialist. Great to have someone on board who can cover that whole area!

As a violinist he knows what it means for each instrument to sound the best within a whole orchestra. The overall result is what counts!

So we are very much looking forward to this new agency trio and to all the fresh and unheard sounds Simon will bring to our Team.

Kulturfenster 2011 will take place on March 25 in Olten. This year the focus is on theatre. The "PrixPlus" prize will be given to an artist of this discipline. Pre-sales are open (starticket.ch). Or online: Tickets here

Albert & Andrea Adams Frey are doing two concerts at the end of April in the German speaking part of Switzerland. Watch out for the further details!
