Dear Stage Friends

The summer holidays are over - at least for most of us.
Now with recharged energy we are ready to dive into the 2nd half of this year.

We welcome Carola Kutzner, our new assistant. She takes over from Silvia Ladner who took a new job at the end of July.
Upcoming tours with Dimtiri and Carlos Martínez, concerts with superzwei and IONA as well as an Only-Swiss-Concert of Switchfoot's VICE VERSES European Tour give us more then enough challenging and exciting work...

Carola Kutzner - from Chemnitz, Germany, to Richterswil

Carola and her family moved to Richterswil some years ago when her husband got a job at Google's European Headquarters in Zurich. Through work in the cultural forum of our village, we got to know each other.

"Ungeschminkte Weisheiten" - in English and Spanish

At the end of May two new translations of the recent book of Carlos Martínez, "Ungeschminkte Weisheiten" were published. So from now on these wonderful short stories and reflections will be available in English and Spanish as well as in German. 

This very insightful books is an excellent way to launch the preparations of the 30st anniversary as a professional mime. In 2012 Carlos Martínez plans to tour throughout Europe and South Amercia in order to celebrate with new and well-known audiences. As always, after each show, Carlos Martínez is happy to personally greet those who come to see him.

Sunday November 20, 19h00 - Only Swiss Concert

The release of Switchfoot's new album "Vice Verses" is scheduled for the end of September. Two months later, the band will present these new songs LIVE to its Swiss Audience.

IONA will be touring Germany in November! In Spring 2012 we are preparing concerts in Switzerland and in the North of Germany. At the same time, the band is in the process of preparing an US Tour for Summer 2012.

Human Rights Day - December 10. Amnesty International is celebrating its 50st Anniversary as an organisation. For the occasion, Carlos Martínez is going to perform "Human Rights" in Berne, at the LaCappella Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 11.
