We have to announce an important change at the PROFILE office: Silvia Ladner, my assistant, is leaving the agency and will start a new job at the Technical High School in Zurich. We will miss her!
Good to know that we already have a successor.

And finally: Carlos Martínez will attend a conference in Puerto Rico this summer. The preparations for his 30th Jubilee as a professional mime actor in 2012 are already underway...
At the same time we are able to announce a longer German Tour in September and a Swiss Tour in October with Clown Dimitri.

The longest tour - could have gone on even longer...

31 days and 5'700 km long was the 3rd Trippin' the Sixties Tour

During our last dinner all together, Barry McGuire commented:
"Normally I am always looking forward to going home towards the end of a tour. Not so this time. Even though it was a very long tour it was such a great time that I am really sad now as it is over. Why not go on for another week or two...?"

Performances in so many different venues such as circus tents, cellars from the middle-ages, open air spaces, cinemas, clubs, bistros - even in a completely transformed gas tank made this tour so colorful!

During this month we met old friends and started a good number of new friendships.

It was impressive how motivating both couples were during this long journey. They discovered always the positive side of any circumstance and they were able to show their appreciation towards the promoters, technicians and their audiences in such a warm way that they left a trace of moved and touched people behind them.
This is what love is all about...

The US Band will promote their new album "vis verses" in Europe in November. The final concert of that tour will be the one in Zurich, Nov 20 at 19h00 in the Volkshaus Zurich.

A Ticket costs Fr. 45.00 until November 1st.
From November 1st onwards it will cost Fr. 50.00.

Silvia Ladner is leaving PROFILE

After nearly 3 years, Silvia Ladner is moving on. She influenced the work at PROFILE Productions with her friendly and open manner. Her involvement in the many projects and tours played a valuable part in making them a success. Promoters as well as artists appreciated her a lot.

We wish her all the best for her new job at the Technical High School of Zurich. We will miss her!

Mime Actor Carlos Martinez attends a conference in Puerto Rico in July. At the beginning of June, his book was  published in Spanish (Desde el camerino) and in English under the title: From the Dressing room.

Clown Dimitri will be touring in September / October in Germany and a few weeks later he will be starting a major Swiss Tour with his oldest program "Porteur".
