On Sept 13, Switzerland celebrates "Kleinkunst Day". Carlos Martínez will be a part of the many special events. He is going to perform HAND MADE in Thusis. But this is not all! After his show he plans to introduce for the first time his new book to the audience!
It is a wonderful collection of reflections, stories and one-liners about life an silence.

Two weeks prior to this special day IONA will celebrate their 20st anniversary with 3 concerts. This band is well established among the Prog Rock and Celtic Rock lovers. An at the end of the month, Barry McGuire and John York start their 3-week-European Tour at the legendary Club "Mühle Hunziken" in Rubigen, Switzerland.

Carlos Martínez is going to perform his prize-winning program "Hand Made". At the end of his show he will introduce his first book, which is published in German by Aussat Verlag.

You will find short stories, reflections and a series of wonderful photos. A gift that will surprise!
His friend, Andreas Malessa, wrote a very personal foreword.

IONA - 20 YEARS on stage

20 years have shaped the music and lyrics of this outstanding band. Their sound has matured like a good wine. On closing the eyes you can see the green pastures, stony and rocky coast lines, foggy bays, the heart and the rolling breakers as well as stormy winds - all woven into the crystal voice of Joanne Hogg and the complex sound creations of keyboarder and guitarist Dave Bainbridge.

Since mid 2009 Troy Donockley left IONA - after many years. Martin Nolan is taking his place. Troy has become very busy with a number of different international touring bands so he could no longer fulfill his obligations with the IONA gigs. We wish him all the Best!
We are looking forward to hearing the band with its new member.

Trippin' the Sixties - with Barry McGuire & John York

After a successful tour last year Barry McGuire and John York are getting ready for their 2nd European Tour. They will start out near Berne in Switzerland, at the legendary Club "Mühle Huniziken" and at the Casino Winterthur. Then they continue through Germany performing in many Clubs including a Radio Talk Show at hr1. The last bit of this tour will be a week in Holland, ending at the prestigious Club "Boerderij" in Zoetermeer.

The sheer joy of Barry & John fills each venue where they perform their Sixties Program. That's why these evenings remain unforgettable!
