Mai 09 Dear Stage friends The last two months have flown... Carlos Martinez visited Latvia, Germany, and Switzerland (the ktv Künstlerbörse turned out to be a big success). Plus the preparations for LAKO 09, the bookings for Trippin the Sixties and IONA did not leave much time to relax. Anyway, we enjoy the colourful work we are privileged to do! The participation at the mission net Congress in Oldenburg and the Kleinkunstbörse in Thun resulted in many open doors, even worldwide. Carlos Martinez starts where he ends with his introductory workshop and takes participants to a new dimension of expression and silent story telling. A maximum of 12 students benefit from the profound experience of the Master and each student gets written study material to continue working for at least another year. The Tour with the Hits of the Sixties After the success of last year, Barry McGuire and John York are eager to come back to Europe. In May they will be touring in the UK including Ireland. In September / October they have 13 - 16 concerts in Switzerland, Germany and Holland. Maybe even in Italy... They will bring along their new LIVE Album with all these wonderful songs including a 24 page booklet. A Must Have! During that tour, Barry is going to celebrate his 74st birthday... The Tour dates will be published during May. What can be said is that venues like the Mühle Hunziken (nr. Berne), the Casino Winterthur, the Sinkkasten in Frankfurt, the Franzis in Wetzland and even the prestigious Boerderij in Zoetermeer will be a part of this upcoming tour. Don't miss it!
