February 09 Dear Stage Friends The new year started out like a whirlwind with a number of special performances by Carlos Martinez that even included a Corporate Seminar for the Swiss Government! Now we are preparing a series of concerts in Switzerland with superzwei during the month of September and the European Tour with Barry McGuire & John York should be ready to go in the fall. Cyrill, our apprentice will soon enter the army. So his place will be free for a successor! In April & May we will have special performances with Carlos Martinez: Two evenings in Verscio at Teatro Dimitri and four evenings at the LaCappella in Bern. With my best regards |

Touch the Silence That is the title of the Beginners Workshop with Carlos Martinez, from March 20 - 22, 2009 in Switzerland at the Hotel Seeblick in Emmetten. If you think of streching movements and monotone exercises, you are deffinietly on the wrong track. The magician of silence is very good at creating feelings, imaginative stories, and expressive body language and his students have a good laugh now and then. What an eye-opening experience! We are looking for a new apprentice ! Cyrill Kohler has been working with us over the past four months. In 10 days he starts his military service. Thanks for the great time together. You did a good job! From 1st March onwards there is an interesting working place in our culture agency waiting for you. We are looking for a new apprentice for 1 - 2 days (20% - 40%). In order to benefit the most it would be ideal to stay at least 8 - 12 months. This time span allows an apprentice to finalise those projects he or she is starting out. So anyone who likes to plan performances, organise festivals and events and also prepare tour projects is welcome! Do you speak German, French and/or English? Even better! Special focus: PROFILE would like to enter more into Social Networks like Facebook and MySpace. That's why we are looking for a "crack" who could help us to set this up. 50th Künstlerbörse Thun - Wed April 15 - Sun April 19, 2009 In April all the "Kleinkunst" Fans meet in Thun, Switzerland: International Artists, Agencies, Theatres, Culture Foundations and an Enthousiastic Public. From Friday to Sunday many artists show their new programs and projects with short sets of 20 minutes. For the first time. Carlos Martinez is going to perform in Thun! His set will be on Friday, April 17 at 17h45 in the Schadausaal. He will perform pieces of his award-winning show Hand Made. PROFILE Productions and Carlos Martinez will have a booth during the whole time in order to meet old and new contacts. We are very much looking forward to all the encounters. |

| Some upcoming projects: - IONA celebrates its 20st anniversary with some concerts in the fall. - Barry McGuire and John York will be on their 2nd European Tour in September/October - as a follow up of their success last year in August. - Delirious? just made the decision to set up a final farewell tour on the continent for late fall 2009. They expressed their wish to come back to Switzerland one last time due to the fact that many Swiss fans missed their concert in December that was sold out 4 weeks prior to the event. Of course we are open to finding ways to get the band back in order to fulfill their wish. Those subscribed to our Newsletter are the first ones to hear more details.
