December 08

Dear Stage Friends

The last four weeks have been filled with outstanding concerts and performances by our artists, both in Switzerland and abroad.
The OSLO GOSPEL CHOIR started this series with its 20year celebration followed by the tour with Andreas Malessa and Carlos Martinez who presented their "Still & Stark" Programme, a night full of wit, smiles, deep thought and unexpected conclusions. During that eleven day tour, DELIRIOUS? did their Farewell night in Winterthur. Finally a weekend later Adrian and Carla Jae Snell gave two concerts Czech Republic which rounded out our year in a very intimate and familiar way.

We are really greatful that all these projects ended up successfully.

We wish each of you some wonderful Christmas Days with time to remember the greatest of all gifts: God gave his son into our world.

We are looking forward to all the surprises that 2009 has ready for us.

With my best regards
Jean-Daniel von Lerber

Carlos Martinez faces unconventional challenges

The request came unexpectedly - from an unknown sender: The director of the Department of Architecture of the HTW Chur asked if he could book Carlos Martinez for a whole week in order to let him train the imagination of his students.
The starting point of these students has much in common with that of a mime actor: To explain and to make visible objects (e.g. a house) that do not exist, in a credible and understandable way for their clients.

Those who know Carlos Martinez are aware that he loves new challenges. So he is going to teach these students form January 5 - 9. Closing the week together, the HTW Chur sets up a performance of his new programme "Books without Words".
The details: Sa, Jan 10, 20h00, Aula HTW Chur. Infos and Tickets here.

2 Highlights: OSLO GOSPEL CHOIR and DELIRIOUS?

Both concerts took place at the Parkarena Winterthur. A great hall with a superb team. That's why we like to go there. Thanks to all of you who work behind the scene!

Right from the beginning the atmosphere was amazing. The hall was nearly sold out and filled with Gospel Fans. Apart from their Standards, the OSLO GOSPEL CHOIR added some Norwegian Christmas Carols and later on their main hits. The night turned into a great celebration, not only for the 20 years of the Choir but also for the topic of their songs: Jesus. It took several encores until the audience let the singers and musicians go.

They all came for the Farewell concert of DELIRIOUS? - Well at least those who had a ticket! The concert was sold out four weeks before the date so many hoped to win a ticket at one of the last competitions.
Martin Smith and his friends once more convinced their audience. His statements regarding the poor and why the band is going to stop next year were especially moving. We have a responsibility towards those who live in the "Shadow of this world".
The enthusiastic audience sang along with the hits of D? We wish the band all the best!
